Direct Transcription

Transcription is a time-consuming task. InqScribe is designed to make this process as efficient as possible.

You transcribe fastest when your hands stay on the keyboard. InqScribe provides customizable keyboard shortcuts for all media controls, so you can control playback without having to reach for the mouse.

You transcribe most efficiently when you can keep up with media playback. InqScribe provides control over the speed of playback. Can't keep up with a fast-talking interview subject? Just set the playback speed to 0.7x.

The most common action during transcription is something we call "skipback," which allows you to replay the previous segment with a single keystroke. InqScribe's skipback feature is completely customizable.

And yes, InqScribe supports USB foot pedals, providing another way to make the transcription process more efficient. Keep your hands on the keyboard and use your feet to control media playback.
