WorldWatcher
WorldWatcher, a scientific visualization and data analysis program, allows students to explore, interpret, and analyze real-world scientific data. WorldWatcher makes complex scientific events visible to students by displaying global datasets as easy-to-read color maps of the world. Using WorldWatcher's supportive data analysis features, students can identify patterns and relationships in climate, human geography, and biodiversity. Students can also use WorldWatcher's "painting" tools to create their own datasets. Inspired by the visualization tools used by actual scientists, WorldWatcher was designed specifically for classroom use by students and teachers.
